Description

All Ampac USA Industrial Reverse Osmosis systems are equipped with a Programmable Log Controller (PLC), providing fully automated controls. Our 100,000 GPD system has the capacity to make 378,500 liters of water per day. It has an integrated 10.4 inch color touch screen graphic display showing data for influent, concentration, permeate flow rates and the percentage of salt rejection. The monitor also allows tank levels, water recovery, and pre-treatment equipment to be checked. The PLC also logs other system variables like pressure, flux rate, conductivity, pH and temperature. Security logging for operators exist at multiple levels to ensure only qualified technicians are able to operate and access the settings. With secure internet connectivity the systems can also be safely controlled remotely and operated from anywhere in the world! In addition, trend data is also remotely accessible. Each reverse osmosis water filtration system is designed to treat waste, minimizing operator oversight. The RO systems consistently deliver high quality treatment whether it is operated during low flows, intermittent or peak flows. The systems use Grundfos smart on demand supply pump with flow control.

Ampac USA also makes a range of fully automated Seawater Desalination (SWRO) Watermakers with ion exchange water softeners. Ion exchange mainly mitigates iron, manganese, calcium and magnesium if present in the water source. The ions are exchanged for potassium or sodium ions, which don't give so much trouble. For example, zeolite or resin, acts as a water softener by attracting calcium salts and displacing them with sodium or potassium. This ion exchange regeneration process is important in all Ampac USA commercial water treatment systems, especially in land based and off-shore Sea Water Desalination systems for treating sea water mixed with well water. SWROs are customized for land, off-shore and marine applications, for bigger boats, ships and other vessels.

Choosing from the many commercial water treatment systems available in the market is not easy. The type of business, location, quality of water source and size of the project are all factors to take into account. In the hospitality industry, the potential of water conservation depends on the type of resort, hotel, and their guests. Large hotels also see significant water usage in banquets, restaurants, clubs, spas, swimming pool, gardens, landscapes and of course the guest rooms. Some American cities have launched water utility programs, working with hotels and motels giving them incentives for being more water efficient. New York City has a Hotel Water Conservation Challenge Program that encourages local hotels offering them incentives to save water. Since 1993, Ampac USA has innovated, developed and manufactured the most reliable and robust reverse osmosis systems for commercial and residential use.
